Credit Bureaus

There are 3 major credit bureaus in the United States; Experian, Trans Union and Equifax. There are several others besides these three, but these are the most important, as almost any credit grantor you seek credit from will seek information from one or more of these three.

Each one is strongest in a particular geographic area. All will contain your major accounts, but each will have slightly different information on the same person.
